About septal extension

Oh, I'm so confused ㅠㅠ.... I only had silicone on my nose, and while I was removing it, I went to ㅁㅌ and ㅍㄹㅁ today to get my nose tip done, and both places talked about septal extension. I didn't know because they just explained it nicely when I was getting the consultation, but if you look at the articles about septal extension, it's full of bad articles ㅠㅠ My nose tip isn't that bad, but it's slightly upturned, so the directors both said that if they raise the tip of my nose, it will look a bit upturned and that they should extend it and lower it. Is this okay to do? I trusted both places, but when I see people talking about septal extension, I don't trust them anymore...
