Until a month ago, I thought that plastic surgery was good for me as long as I was satisfied with it.
But that's not the case. No matter how you do rhinoplasty, there are
always side
effects. If you extend the septum or set it up, the tip of your nose will be as hard as your thumb or harder than that, and you'll always have to feel a foreign body sensation.
If you use your own cartilage and silicone together and an inflammatory reaction occurs, the septum itself may melt.
The side effects of silicone inflammation and build-up are well-known, right?
But the real fear of silicone is when you use it together with your own cartilage. If the silicone causes an inflammatory reaction, not only can you not reuse the autologous cartilage that's left when the silicone is removed, (you have to use donated costal cartilage or your own costal cartilage for a second surgery, but costal cartilage is not only hard but also elastic, so the bridge of your nose can bend). Also, if you use your own costal cartilage, the scar will be severe, and if you use donated dermis, even if you do immune treatment with medication, there is a risk of necrosis if inflammation occurs.
If the tip of the nose is excessively raised by cartilage repositioning, it may look like the nose was pinched with a clothespin, and even
if the surgery went well without any side effects, the desired design varies depending on the doctor (straight line, semi-straight line), so the satisfaction with the plastic surgery may decrease and there is a possibility of re-surgery. Please, please do not get rhinoplasty.
