Hello. I don't know where to vent my frustrations right now, so I'm writing this to see if any of the Sungye Society members have had a similar experience. ㅠ My friend and I decided to get rhinoplasty at Apgujeong JY, and the director told my friend to only put down 500,000 won as a deposit out of 500,000 won. However, my friend said she couldn't afford 500,000 won, so she put down 300,000 won on her card. And I still wasn't sure, so I paid the consultation fee and the next day, I heard if the surgery was confirmed, so I put down 600,000 won out of 600, and the director said that the person who put down a deposit first would have an easier time getting the surgery, so I put down 600,000 won.
But after I put down my money in the morning and by the evening, since I've only had my nose done three times, I wasn't 100% sure, so I left a message to the director about a refund to cancel and asked them to contact me in the morning. And the next day, the director texted me that it was his day off and he said he would deduct a 10% commission and deposit only 540,000 won, minus 60,000 won. But what I don't understand is that my friend had previously bet 90 at ㅇ&ㅇ and I had also bet 10, and at that time, we got everything back without any commission. It's so absurd that they deducted a 10% commission just a few hours ago and requested a refund a few hours later. It's so unfair to me. According to some consumer protection law, they say that if you cancel 3 days in advance, you get 90% of the deposit, 2 days in advance, and 20% the day before, but I find it unfair because I didn't want to bet 60, and the director told me to send it that way. There's no case where other plastic surgery clinics deduct a commission without saying anything if you only bet 100,000 or 200,000 won, so I don't think this is true.
If it's the Consumer Protection Act, then all hospitals will take a large commission.. I got a refund in a few hours, but 60,000 won was gone
. By the way, my surgery is on the 16th. There are 8 days left from today, so I don't understand how I can't get a 100% refund.
I understand paying for the consultation and city shots, but this is really incomprehensible.
On top of that, the director said today was his day off, and I didn't cause any problems with the surgery schedule.... I'm really upset.
I feel like I'm throwing my money in the trash can. The hospital is famous and has great skills, so I trusted them, so I invited my friend to that hospital.... I feel really bad about this commercial attitude, and I don't want to get surgery... What do I do in this situation?
