What is the maximum height that the tip of the nose can be raised using ear cartilage?

The tip of my nose didn't change much before and after the surgery, so I asked the doctor, and he said that each layer of cartilage was 1mm, and three layers made up of a total of 3mm, so they couldn't raise it any higher.
