My whole family is so against it, so I'm just going to go ahead and do it (I won't tell my dad until he finds out... He's against it, so why even ask for money? I'll pay for it all and borrow the rest from my friends.)
I tried to convince my mom and dad, but our relationship just got worse. I was able to convince
my mom a little, but she lied and said that I need to have an osteotomy, and in my case, it's a very simple surgery and I don't want to have one.
(My little brother wanted to have it too, but my mom wouldn't let me because of the osteotomy. So I lied because I was afraid that I'd be opposed too.)
Should I go with my mom on the day of the surgery?
If we do, she'll find out during the pre-operative consultation that I'm going to have an osteotomy.
I'm worried that my mom will just object on the spot .
Should I tell her to come around the time the surgery is over?
Or should I just boldly go alone?
I think the doctor will be more careful if I go with my mom rather than alone... but
I'm also scared to go alone...
sigh... Getting the surgery itself is stressful, and my family is all against it, so it's doubly stressful... I
was going to get it done when I first entered college, but I gave up because of strong opposition, but I'm thinking about doing it again... It's my last chance before graduation...
Is there anyone whose family is strongly against it?
