First of all, I am so grateful to all the people who helped me a lot, and the comments cheering me on gave me a lot of strength and courage! I wouldn’t have been able to get here if I was alone.
The most important point to note about this incident is that in addition to the materials (donated rib, ear cartilage, silicone) that were explained to the patient, foreign material (mesh) that is not preferred these days because it can cause side effects was used without explanation or notice, and 11 months after the surgery, the material protruded through the inner wall of the nose, forcing me to undergo another surgery.
At first, they said that it was written in the consent form, but in the end, they said that even if they were using these materials, they were necessary treatment materials for the patient… . They think that if they just change the words, everything will be covered up… . I
definitely didn’t receive a single explanation before or after the surgery. If they had just informed the director of what the nose surgery materials were, what they used, and what could happen when they used them, I don’t think there would have been this much confusion in the treatment. Even the materials used were left out on the surgery records. I don’t know if it was intentional, but this is also clear negligence… .
Gentleman XX Plastic Surgery is a hospital often mentioned in Sungye Sa. I had two rhinoplasties, and a material that was not explained to me, the patient, before and after the surgery came out through the inner wall of my nose. I was so shocked that I went to the hospital with the material, but they kept evading the issue, saying that they didn’t know about the material and that it wasn’t written on the surgery records, but later admitted it.
It was so absurd that the doctor used important surgical materials without explanation before and after the surgery, and did not even write it down on the surgical record.
Surgical materials such as mesh or Medpore are not biomaterials but foreign substances, so serious side effects such as infection, redness, and skin protrusion can occur. Also, since mesh is usually absorbed by the tissue after the surgery, it is very difficult or almost impossible to separate it from the patient's body tissue in the event of a second surgery. When mesh is used as support during rhinoplasty, the mesh is a fibrous tissue, and if absorbed into the body, the structure of the fibrous tissue will not be stable, making it difficult to maintain support, which can be the main cause of the nose sagging. In terms of the effectiveness of plastic surgery, it is a material that can cause side effects. As we
live, there are times when we encounter such unexpected and unfair situations. It is
really difficult times, and we are moving forward by solving each problem one by one.
We are suffering a lot of time, energy, money, mental, and physical damage! Just overcome it~
Someday, the truth will be revealed, and someone will have to take responsibility.
Without even a single sincere apology or an attitude of taking moral responsibility, they are now filing a criminal complaint against me and causing secondary harm ^^
Of course, I faithfully participated in the police investigation for about 5 hours and of course the result was a non-indictment (not guilty).
I hired a lawyer, collected and organized the evidence, and am in the process of filing a civil lawsuit. Thank you so much for always supporting me, you guys! Let's go all the way!!! You
said that the continuous lies and excuses were because you were afraid of the price of responsibility for the truth, but if you had truly admitted, apologized, and taken responsibility, would things have gotten this complicated?
This has made me realize that I shouldn't live like that. It's embarrassing ㅡㅡ;;
I really hope that you guys don't suffer like I did and don't get in pain like I did. Let's help each other and be strong!!! Thank you!!! I hope my post was helpful to patients who are thinking about getting rhinoplasty. Be careful!!!
