It's been two weeks since I had double jaw surgery + V-line. After being told that I could remove the wafer in the second week, I took it out for the first time while brushing my teeth and looked in the mirror. As I
looked at the mirror and saw my face with swelling going down, I was happily imagining what it would be like if the swelling went down even more, but then I realized something strange.
When I close my teeth, my left molars touch first, and then when I close them a little more, my right canines touch. However, my right molars, which are the most important, do not touch.
Am I weird? When I put the wafer in, I felt like both sides were touching... So I looked at the wafer and there was a small hole in the left wafer part.
However, no matter how much I change the force and turn my face with the wafer out, my right molars do not touch.
Is this normal?
I didn't have a malocclusion before the surgery. I had the surgery because of a little asymmetry, and there was no problem with my occlusion, but after the surgery, my molars on one side do not align at all. No, even if they don't fit, the molars should touch, but my right molars don't touch at allㅜ
Also, I didn't notice the problem with the molars when wearing the wafer, but could this be a wafer that was made incorrectly?ㅜ But since they also use wafers during surgery, if the wafers were made incorrectly from the beginning, wouldn't the surgery have gone wrong too..?
I'm going crazyㅜ When I called the hospital, they said they'd meet the director in two daysㅜ Ha,
I worked hard to sell my teeth in Seoul and had the surgery at a famous oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic.. If this is a mistake, I think I'm going to dieㅜ
