This is a review after my first eye surgery.
The hospitals below were selected based on extremely subjective criteria.
Personally,
I wanted to improve my droopy eyelids while maintaining my existing eye line as much as possible, rather than something fancy and pretty.
In other words,
I chose the hospital based on recommendations from acquaintances and information from the Internet (Sungyesa, Yeouiyah, Gaasa, Barbitok),
so the before/after results may not be as dramatic as those that most people would expect!!
To be honest, I'm leaving a review just for my own records, so
I may not be able to respond to hospital information notes or comments (because I think all criteria are extremely subjective).
First of all, all hospitals should be
1. A hospital with a single director who has been running the hospital for a long time in one place.
2. If it's a typical factory-style consultation room manager-director-consultation room manager consultation order, exclude it if possible.
3. Exclude hospitals that force a deposit.
4. Exclude hospitals with bad reviews on the internet if possible (scars, fake reviews, aftercare, etc.).
5. Exclude hospitals with too many advertisements (or viral marketing that seems to be advertisements).
6. Exclude hospitals with unreasonable estimates on the internet if possible.
7. Even if it's a factory-style hospital, if the pay doctor seems to have decent skills, exclude hospitals with directors who change positions frequently every year.
8. Exclude hospitals that force overcorrection.
9. If possible, exclude hospitals with specialists in charge.
10. Exclude hospitals that demand consultation fees.
11. Exclude hospitals with too many consultation/surgery schedules
(i.e., hospitals that meet all the conditions that are not good, rather than the conditions that are good. Only to hospitals..)
1. Apgujeong ㅅㅂㄷㅇㅈ: 'Balpum (consultation fee X)
A hospital with only one specialist director /
Operated under the same name in Apgujeong for quite some time /
Visited upon recommendation by an acquaintance /
I liked the fact that they limit the number of surgeries per day.
Recommended for eyebrow lifting (2.5 million won)
The details about AS, aftercare, etc. are vague and there is no prior notice.
Anyway, I hesitated because I wanted to postpone the incision as much as possible, and
they asked for the full amount as a deposit or almost half of it, so I ruled it out.
2. Gangnam Station ㅇㄴ / ㅅㅇㅇ: Balpum (consultation fee X)
Factory-style
I really liked the reviews of the director (specialist) at his previous hospital, so I went there.
However, I was concerned that he moved around quite frequently.
Consultation was conducted in the order of consultation room director-director-consultation room director
. It feels systematic because it is a corporate type, but
I felt like the director only did the surgery and that the consultation room director was the party to my contract... I was not satisfied.
The director gave me a very detailed and kind consultation.
He set the line, but in fact I didn't think about eye correction, so I didn't have the mental space to feel things like the lines I liked (this is purely my problem)
Incision double eyelid surgery + eye correction + autologous fat redistribution recommended (1.9 million won)
There was pressure to pay a deposit (10%) on the day of the consultation,
and eye correction was a procedure I hadn't even thought about, so I just passed.
3. Shinsa Station ㅌㅂ / ㄱㄷㅎ: Foot massage (not much cost)
It was a 6 o'clock appointment at a 2-person specialist hospital,
but they pressured me not to be even 1 minute late, which was burdensome ㅜㅜ
The consultation room manager - director - consultation room manager in that order
gave me kind consultations and answered my questions well.
They told me the maintenance period for burial: 2-3 years, 10 years for incision
, and didn't recommend any other excessive procedures.
Aftercare, AS was at the level of a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam Station, Shinsa Station (1 year, 2 laser treatments for swelling).
They said burial was possible, but considering my drooping eyelids, they recommended incision. They don't recommend eyebrow lifting,
but when I drew the line, Incision is almost equal to burial? I said it was awkward because it looks like an inline, but
I think you thought I preferred an excessive outline, so I thought that if we don't communicate properly, the result might be different from what I intended.
The price is 1 million won when making a reservation for a consultation,
and when compared to Mom Cafe, Barbie Talk, etc., the same burial is around 500,000 to 1.1 million won, so I hesitated a little here.
And this is just my personal opinion, but I feel like it's a bit viral. ㅜㅜ
It's not that I don't like it, but it's not that I'm really attracted to it, so I'll pass.
4. Cheongdam BYㅇㅇ: Foot massage (consultation fee X)
A one-person specialist hospital that
has been operating in Cheongdam-dong for a long time.
Although not a specialist, I consulted with an acquaintance (my acquaintance's daughter, both her senior and junior, got double eyelid surgery and were very satisfied). Consultation was conducted
in the order of the director and the head of the consultation room
. There was a bit of a waiting time until the consultation..
There was also a waiting time for the head of the consultation..
The consultation was friendly, but
My eyes are too strong to be incised or buried, and I was told that only eyebrow lifting (1.4 million won) would be possible, so I was disappointed here ㅜㅜ
And to hide the eyebrow lifting scar, he recommended that I get my eyebrows tattooed first (I'm someone who doesn't even think about incisions, so I had a mental breakdown when the topic of eyebrow tattooing came up).
Of course, plastic surgery is a field where manual skills are important, so it would be better to get the surgery done by someone with good manual skills rather than a specialist, but
it didn't meet my standards, so I gave up.
5. Seolleung Station ㅎㅌ: Foot massage (consultation fee X)
I visited this
hospital on the recommendation of an acquaintance
(a neighborhood auntie: the type who is very careful and researches a lot). It's not a large hospital, so there aren't many reviews, but when I looked up reviews of Seongye Temple and other places,
the words "natural" and "safety first" first caught my eye.
I consulted with the director and the head of the consultation room in that order, and
this could be a bit of a marketing strategy, but my eyes are fine now, so I told him what I was worried about, and
since it was my first time, I was scared of incisions and didn't want them, so I asked if burial was okay, and he
honestly said that if burial was done, it would last about 3 years, and the director said that if the burial came off, it would be as They said it would be done for 2-3 years, but
when the head of the counseling center consulted with me separately, they said
it would be for 1 year, so I had a bit of a mental breakdown. There is no separate aftercare. It was
recommended by an acquaintance, so I got double eyelid surgery (880,000 won).
In conclusion, I got double eyelid surgery here, and this might be a bit funny, but
according to my personal data, most people with swollen thumbs (hands that look like they were hit by a hammer and swollen) are very dexterous, and
the head of the clinic has swollen hands. He is also good at drawing,
so I cast my fate on my intuition and finger physiognomy.
It's only the 5th day and there's still some swelling, but I'm still satisfied.
By the way, the head of the counseling center doesn't seem to have much expression, so I think it might be misunderstood, but
it's okay for people who just want to be plain rather than overly kind
, and F-type people can have a little minor injuries.
6. ㄴㅅㅎ / ㄴㅅㅎ (Hands)
CEO I
originally liked the reviews of other directors of this hospital, but they moved to another place, so I think the CEO is better. Also,
a mother wrote a testimony on Mom's Cafe,
so I've already made up my mind to get it here if possible.
When I called in early June, they said they only had reservations for early July, so I made a reservation.
I made a reservation and had some time left + I was anxious so I looked through
all the reviews of the director as premium. It's
hard to go into detail, but there were some good reviews, but there were quite a few mixed reviews so I just passed ㅜㅜ I canceled the consultation.
7. ㅇㅁㄷ / ㄱㅅㅎ (Hands)
As expected, a mother's testimony on Mom Cafe caught my attention.
The mother's eye condition was almost the same as mine, so I wondered if natural adhesion (burial) could change it like this, so I searched quickly and tried to make a reservation.
When I contacted in June, the earliest available consultation date was early September ㅜㅜ
I really wanted to get the surgery in July, but I asked several times if there were any empty spots or cancelled reservations, and they said
the surgery was possible the following Monday ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
No, I didn't even have a consultation and had the surgery right away. Interceptor.
But I really wanted to get a consultation, so I kept the consultation reservation for September and
looked up reviews of the surgery.
The most common ones were burial, but there was a lot of bleeding and bruising during the surgery.
The doctor was too busy (I had a mental breakdown here... no matter how much Even though it was a corporate one, I thought they were spinning
the wheels for this one) In the end, I thought it would be like playing Russian roulette if I got caught by the tight schedule and the turnover rate of the doctors, so I passed.
8. ㅇㄴㅋ (Insincere hands)
I looked for a place because the reviews were good and I thought I would get buried.
There were a lot of reviews about scars and double chins, so I passed.
9. ㅇㄴ (Insincere hands)
I looked for a place because I thought I would get
buried . It seemed like there was some unfortunate accident, so I passed.
10. ㅂㅆㅇㅇ (Insincere hands)
When I only read the reviews, I liked it the most and I thought I could get an incision here, but I was
a little concerned about some of the reviews and there was a consultation fee,
so I wrote a pass. Now that I think about it, I must have searched and received a lot of consultations.
The puffiness under my eyes is still going down, so it's too early to say if it's good or bad, but
I 'm satisfied with the fact that it doesn't deviate too much from the existing line and looks natural.
The conclusion I've come to is to not be too greedy and have a safe surgery~~~
