Hello,
I had nose surgery about a week ago.
I had surgery to raise the tip of my nose using ear cartilage and tying the cartilage at the tip of my nose. However,
I had sensitive ears and tinnitus, so
I said I wanted to use costal cartilage.
However, the doctor said that since costal cartilage would be too large for surgery, we should use ear cartilage. Ear cartilage is the softest and is suitable for use in rhinoplasty.
I asked if there would be any functional or morphological deformation when the ear cartilage was used, and
he said there was no, so I trusted him and made an appointment for surgery.
After the surgery was performed using ear cartilage,
the pain from the ear incision was enormous, and the pain in the area where the ear cartilage was lost was also tremendous. The problem is that it's so bad that I can't even sleep.
Each person says that this kind of pain lasts for a short period of time, a few months, or even years....
I also found out that when ear cartilage is removed and used, ear deformation occurs more often than expected, and
keloids also form in the ear incision area. They said it could happen.
I feel so hateful and resentful of myself as to why I didn't know about these side effects before the surgery.
I want to turn back time to before the surgery,
I can't sleep at night because of the pain in my ears, and I'm having really extreme thoughts.
Is there anyone who had nose surgery using ear cartilage and is still living well without deformation or side effects even after a few years?
