I did 3 types of contouring, bone grafting, and double chin suction.
Two weeks after the surgery, I visited the hospital and entered the treatment room. The nurse told me that the stitches would be removed and that I was not allowed to scream. After hearing this, I knew I was going to be a gem.
The inside of my mouth is very swollen. I hold the stick myself and hold the corners of my mouth wide open. Every time the nurse cuts every corner with medical scissors, I feel pain as if the soft flesh inside my mouth is being torn.
Before removing the stitches, they give me something that looks like a red ginseng stick and I use it. I didn't know that it was for anesthesia when they asked you to gargle for 1 minute. Could you please say something...
I looked at the clock and spit it out at exactly 1 minute. My left side felt a bit numb and the anesthesia had gone away, but my right side and front jaw area were barely there and I could feel them all, so I thought I was going to die when they removed the stitches there.
After that hellish time, the nurse told me to rinse my mouth, and when I did, I was embarrassed because a lot of blood came out...
It really hurts so bad, so if you have stitches removed after contouring, be sure to use an anesthetic gargle carefully in every nook and cranny. Now that I think about it, I think it would be helpful to take a painkiller like Tylenol before removing the stitches.
