코만 보면 엄청 콧구멍 커보이는데, 사실은 수지 코임. 역시 얼굴 전체를 보는 연습이 중요.

It's still very wide when viewed from below. LOL>Hey guys! Do you remember when I posted a comprehensive article about nostril reduction surgery before?
At that time, I only looked up side effects and decided not to get it done, but later, I had many hospitals left that I had made reservations at, so I looked around and finally got the surgery!
In conclusion, I like it 200%, so don't blindly think, "I have to get it done after reading my article!" and
definitely! Make sure! that your nostrils are suitable for reduction!!! And I hope you find a doctor who listens to your opinions and reflects them a lot!!!
If you are sure of these two things, your surgery will be successful.

Reasons for decision:
 1. First of all, I have never had a non-incision or other rhinoplasty, so I had no side effects (if you have used dissolvable threads for a non-incision, you may have scars depending on the area. If you search for side effects on ㅂㅂㅌ, you will see pictures.)
 2. My nostrils are long compared to the base of my nose, so even if I had them reduced, my nose would not have a crooked shape (you need to see the pictures to understand this, so refer to my previous post.)
 3. I did not have keloids, so I did not have to worry about scars.
So I decided to have the surgery because I ultimately concluded that my nose was suitable for a nostril reduction.

Results of hospital consultation:
I went to all the famous places. But it is very famous, but I searched persistently on ㅅㅇㅅ and ㅂㅂㅌ and found some side effects. I hate side effects, but I hate it when doctors don't respond well even more. However, I was a bit surprised to see reviews saying that they would take responsibility for everything during consultations but then changed their words. So I filtered out all the places that had side effects, even if it was just one surgery. So I filtered out places that were very famous but had a lot of side effects. The doctor's conscience and the way they dealt with things were the most important.
Another famous place had a doctor who looked really tired and spoke very confidently, saying that for my size, they would have to cut off the entire bridge of my nose. Other famous places also recommended the outside because they said that the inside wouldn't work and that I should cut off a lot. But I didn't like the fact that they recommended such a bold design for the bridge of my nose, so I excluded those hospitals. I thought that places with strong doctor pride would not accept me if I went back later with side effects or dissatisfaction and would not acknowledge it.
In the end, I decided on a quiet private hospital that I found by chance that didn't do any advertising at all. I was a little worried because there were few reviews, but there were over a hundred reviews, and they had been in business for quite some time. They didn't ask for advertising, but they said they were so satisfied that they left reviews, and I didn't see any side effect reviews. When I went for a consultation, it was the only one of two places that didn't charge a consultation fee, and I got the feeling that the director was very safety-conscious, doing only nose reduction, nose tip, and other minor procedures. When I actually met him, it didn't feel like a plastic surgery clinic, but rather like a clinic, and the director didn't have any plastic surgery, so the atmosphere was comfortable. There were three staff members, including a nurse, so I wondered how they made a living...
But first of all, I had to say that it didn't smell like money, which is typical of plastic surgery. And when I asked questions during the consultation, he would often laugh at me (typical of plastic surgery clinics) or say that he didn't know anything or that it was just gum, and explain confidently, but this person explained things in detail as if he was treating me, so I thought he wouldn't change his attitude even if a problem arose later. I was most worried about side effects, so I paid the most attention to how well the doctor communicated with me and how responsible he would be in the future. There were many directors who showed off their skills, but I didn't feel that way.
 1. Are they a plastic surgery specialist?
 2. Are there any reviews of side effects?
 3. Will the doctor change his mind when there are side effects? Does he value communication, how much does he respect and listen to his patients, does he show off his skills?

Consultation on the day of surgery:
I looked at the design with the director again, and he said that I should cut it by about 3.5mm, so I asked how much, and he showed me a nose shape that was much narrower than my standard. If you only look at the nostrils, that amount is fine, but I didn't think that much should be cut to match the balance of my entire face. My nostrils are on the large side, but my nose is also high and long, so if I reduced my nostrils to the extent that others do, my face would look very long. I told him about that and showed him the extent I wanted, and he was flustered, saying, "That's almost the same?" Haha. But I usually don't have any complaints about the size of my nostrils, but I didn't want them to flare out too much when I smile, so I just wanted them to be pulled inward, so in the end, he recommended 3.5mm, but I decided to reduce them by 1.5-2mm on the left and right and check in between.
(I went to places famous for their nostril tips, but they all recommended 4-5mm, said I had to trim the entire bottom of my nose, or that the effect would be minimal without the outer part, and were against it. They used to say it so confidently, but now that I think about it, it’s so absurd…)
After consulting with the director, I met with the chief director and received post-surgery care and other information, then paid.
In the end, I think it was a stroke of genius to decide on the nostril size based on the proportions of my entire facial features rather than just looking at my nose.
I uploaded an example photo. It’s the original version of my nostril tip compared to the reduced version. If you only look at my nose, the reduced version is pretty, but if you look at the whole thing, it looks a bit odd, and my cheeks and chin area have become wide and stuffy
, right? And if you only look at my nose, my nostrils look really big… Is that Suzy’s nose? It’s a nose that goes so well with my entire face when you look at it…
The photos below are of my nose before and after surgery. There are many reasons why I didn’t reduce my nostril tip too much.
First of all, I have a long face + a lot of flesh on my chin + a high and long nose + a thick nose bridge. From the perspective of someone with this nose and face shape, if the nostrils are made too small without considering the thick bridge of the nose, the jawline and deep cheek area will stand out even more, and the nose will look like a fist nose and a butterfly-like face. So even if the nostrils seem big just by looking at the nose, I decided on a size that suits my face.

Before the stitches are removed:
 1. Hold the inside with a dissolvable thread and the outside with a non-dissolvable thread, so the inside of the nose should not be touched.
 2. Do not blow your nose.
 4. You can eat anything.
 5. No smoking or drinking. It can cause scarring or swelling.
 6. You can laugh. (But from experience, I don’t like the feeling of craving cold buckwheat noodles.)
 7. Do not wash your face on the first day.
 8. Don’t be surprised because your nose will be more swollen for 3-4 days than right after the surgery.
 9. You should wipe the scabs with a cotton swab and purified water twice a day to reduce scarring later.
I took a picture before going into the operating room. I am sensitive about my personal information, so I wrote my name, date of birth, and address falsely during the consultation, but this is not a place that advertises, and there were hospitals that showed their faces without mosaics during the consultation, but this place only showed their nose, so I took the picture with peace of mind. Of course, they told me that it was for checking before and after the surgery, and not for showing it to others. Nose

hair, nasal care:
When I went into the operating room, a nurse came and cut my nose hair and tidied up my nose. I felt sorry for some reason... They kindly informed me that they would disinfect and anesthetize me at each step, so I was less nervous.
 Local anesthesia:
Sleep anesthesia costs 100,000 won more, but sleep anesthesia doesn't allow me to check the middle stage and I had to fast the day before, so I went with local anesthesia. I was nervous because I heard that it would hurt a lot, but it was less painful than when I got a needle stuck in the center of my nose. It was less painful than dental anesthesia. But it still hurt, so I wiggled my legs and cried a little. But it was so fast that it seemed to finish in 5-10 seconds because they put in so much force to match the angle.
Incision: It seemed like the anesthesia was applied almost immediately after the anesthetic injection… From then on, I could vaguely feel them cutting and suturing.
Intermediate check: They told me to get up in the middle, look in the mirror, and compare the previous photos to decide whether to cut more or stop here. At first, I didn’t know if I should stop here, and I had a mental breakdown trying to decide in that short moment, but when they said, “Is this good enough?” I was so satisfied that I said I would stop here. They said they regretted not reducing it more, but I thought that I should stop now when I was satisfied, even if I might regret it later. The bridge of the nose cannot be undone…
But I really only reduced it by 1.5-2mm, but the shape changed so much and I was so satisfied that I think I would have regretted it if I had reduced it by 3.5-4mm. After 2 weeks, I started to regret not reducing it more. It would have been perfect if I had done 2-2.5, but I don't know. That regrettable 1mm can be covered up with makeup. I hope everyone thinks about it for a long time and goes with the most conservative confidence possible to express their opinions. Don't listen to the doctor and cut out a lot without realizing it and regret it later... Definitely, definitely, be conservative
and finish the nasal bridge. The anesthesia didn't work out well on the lower part of my left nostril, so I felt a slight sting and the stitches were being pulled, but it wasn't that painful, so I just let it be. But the anesthesia wore off later. LOL

On the day of the surgery:
An hour after the surgery, have a meal - Take medicine after meal - Take medicine after dinner
I got my nose hairs shaved, so I'd have a runny nose and the anesthesia would wear off in 3-4 hours, so I went to the pharmacy to buy painkillers, antibiotics, stomach medicine, and runny nose medicine, but since I don't like taking Western medicine, I wouldn't get a prescription for runny nose medicine, so they told me to buy Zyrtec if I had a runny nose, but what the heck... An hour or two after the surgery, my nose was so runny that I ended up running to the pharmacy. Zyrtec is for allergies and I was told to take a cold medicine, so I bought that and it calmed down a bit. But then my runny nose stopped, so I felt like I bought the medicine for nothing.
And why didn't anyone tell me this? The painkillers and antibiotics are toxic, so I have to take them with stomach medicine, and they say you have to take them after meals to avoid stomach upsets, so they recommend having the surgery right before a meal! That's because the anesthesia was supposed to last three or four hours, but after an hour it started to sting, so I quickly ate and took the medicine. The medicine is supposed to be taken three times a day, once after every meal, but if it still hurts, you can take Tylenol. They told me not to wash my face for 24 hours, but since it was summer, I sweated, so I showered and wiped my face, avoiding the surgical site. The first day was a little cold, but I didn't feel any pain.

Day 2: I didn't eat breakfast, so I took the medicine after lunch - I took the medicine after dinner
My nose was stuffy, so I had a runny nose and a headache. They said the swelling wouldn't go down if I stayed home too much, so I took the medicine and met a friend. Since I cut it so little, not only was there no scabs, but the scabs from yesterday were all washed away by the snot and the stitches were barely visible and I could just go outside comfortably. I thought I didn’t need to take painkillers, but since they were anti-inflammatory, I just took them. My nose feels a bit more swollen than yesterday. It doesn’t hurt or anything other than the swollen feeling. The hospital also said that it swells more on the 3rd or 4th day than the day of. It didn’t hurt at all at night.

Day 4: I keep forgetting that I had surgery. They clearly said I had scabs, but I haven’t had any since the surgery so I didn’t need to use cotton swabs or purified water… You can’t see the surgery scar at all and the stitches are barely visible unless you come into contact with someone, so I can go outside freely ㅋㅋㅋ

Day 7: The stitches were taken out and a red scar was revealed. I met a friend and he said that my face lost weight and he didn't recognize me after the surgery. I got my nostrils reduced and my face looks more gathered.

Day 10: The scars are almost healed and they're so inward that it's almost invisible.

Result:
Very satisfied. The unexpected medical effect is because my nostrils are so big that I pick my nose a lot? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I always have boogers ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ But since my nose is stuffy and I don't pick my nose anymore, I don't get boogers so much... I wonder if this is the life of a normal person (?) ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
From a cosmetic standpoint, since the nostrils are gathered inward, my face looks clearer and more gathered (?).
But do you know what's really funny about people's psychology? At first, I was very satisfied. But after about a week or two, I regretted listening to the director and getting it reduced more? ㅋㅋㅋ Especially in photos, the phone camera is slightly bent so my nose looks bigger. But if I looked in the mirror and tried to reduce it more, I would have regretted it 100%. I’ve never been in the habit of looking at my entire face, and I’ve only focused on my nose, so it’s hard to break that habit. It’s like gaslighting… That’s why I keep getting dissatisfied and touching it more, and then regretting it. I’ve pulled myself together again. Haha. These days, I’m practicing looking at my entire face, not just my nose.
The scar is pretty clear. I heard about this before the surgery, so I wasn’t surprised. The joint isn’t naturally connected, but artificially cut and attached, so if you look closely, you can see it, but since the joint itself is rolled up into my nose, unless someone looks inside my nostrils from below, the scar won’t be visible from the front. But I definitely don’t tilt my head back and laugh. My friend also went to get a rhinoplasty consultation, but she said that her nostrils are slightly upturned, so she said that the scar would be too visible. When I tried it, I really didn’t think a nose with visible nostrils would be good. The scar was too visible from the front.
And before the surgery, she said that my nostrils were uneven, but I didn’t know. But I actually realized it after the surgery. This is something you can see when you turn your nose upside down, and it’s not noticeable when you look at it from the front, so it’s not annoying.

Unexpected part:
Actually, I knew this all along, but I didn’t listen carefully… One thing is that I keep getting greedy and wanting to reduce it even more. Actually, my dream nose is a sharp nose, so it doesn’t make sense to reduce the nostrils and hope for a sharp nose bridge. It does have the effect of making you look a little straighter. Anyway, it’s mind control.
And I wrote about the side effects in my previous post, but there’s something I overlooked myself - makeup doesn’t work on the scarred area as if it’s coated! That’s why it can’t be covered up with makeup and the bottom of my nostrils is red ㅠㅠ I guess I have to wait until the scar fades ㅠ

I’ll ask again!!!
 1. Check if your nose is suitable for a nose job. 2. If you are going to get rhinoplasty ,
don't do it all at once. Be sure to get rhinoplasty first and then observe the progress. It is not too late to get additional rhinoplasty later.
 3. Most people who regret it are those who got internal/external surgery. The risk is the highest. Internal/external > external > internal.
 4. Go to as many consultations as possible, and think about the harmony of your entire face for a long time instead of just looking at your nose. Doctors overrecommend after only looking at your nose.
 5. If you are satisfied right after the surgery, it means the surgery was successful. From then on, consciously get rid of the habit of only looking at your nose.

Ask if you have any questions~

+Guys, the hospital will just tell you, so stop asking. Myeongdong ㅇㅇㅈㅇ I didn't ask for a review and I'm not a broker, so don't report me! And I hope you read all of my previous posts about nose tip reduction before deciding whether to get the surgery or not!!
