The first time, the part where the beak was shaved was sunken (no prosthesis or dermis used), so there was a shadow on the bridge of my nose.
The head of the hospital where I had my rhinoplasty came forward and said that he would fill in that part with donated dermis while doing the nose tip extension and lateral osteotomy. At the time, the shadow on the bridge of my nose wasn't the main stressor, but I thought I would be grateful if they filled it in, so I said okay.
It's been 7 months since the surgery. When looking from the front, the area where the shadow was filled in sticks out, so sometimes my friends ask if I got bitten by a mosquito, and under fluorescent lights, a rectangular shape is reflected ㅋㅋ. Even from the side, the beak is worse than before the first time ㅋㅠ I
really didn't want a third time, and they said that donated dermis is absorbed, so I left it alone, but when I went for a consultation today to check on the progress, they said that there won't be any changes after 6 months?
When I look at pictures taken by others, my nose bridge looks smooth and fine from some angles, but from other angles it looks really crooked. The fact that the hospital is going to fix it and provide free repair service means that the condition is serious, but I wonder if I'm just dull and can't feel it
. ㅋㅋㅋㅠ
> I like the overall shape of my nose, except for the step problem and the slightly crooked nose when viewed from the front, so I'm wondering if I should get it done a third time or just live with it. What do you think ordinary people would do?
> And the hospital said they'd do free repair service, shaving off the protruding part and filling in the step below with ear cartilage, but is it common to use ear cartilage for the bridge of the nose?
1. It's free anyway, so I'll get it fixed (and get my crooked nose fixed at the same time)
2. I'll just live with it.
