What is still sticking out is the swelling of the temporal muscle. ㅜㅜIt won’t fall out..><My cheekbones feel like they were pushed in. Please insert 6mm><Take care of left and right asymmetry><I added an auxiliary line to see how much it has been reduced. It is almost accurate by adding an auxiliary line based on the eyebrow tip + face point location.>Wow, it seems like it was just yesterday that I was writing this post in the recovery room right after the surgery, but
it's already been 28 days and I got a CT scan and consulted with the director today!!!
(The hospital where I had the surgery was visited every week after the surgery,
a total of 4 times for follow-up care, and a CT scan was taken on the 4th visit)
● CT analysis
- The bone cutting height and cutting amount were also varied to
adjust the left and right
asymmetry of the cheekbones. - They said that double fixation is the basic method, but
if necessary, triple fixation is performed
. CT confirmed that the pins are tightly pinned in three layers.
- And from the first consultation until I lay down on the operating table,
I can see that they really put as much emphasis on the first cheekbone as possible.
(They put in about 6mm!)
- The recovery is going really well, so I just want to keep managing it like this for now.
● Current status
- There is swelling in the temporalis muscle, but it has gone down considerably compared to before. I'm going to go get botox for wrinkles soon, but I'm thinking about just getting my temporalis muscle massaged then.
- Loss of sensation to the size of index fingernail below the corner of the right eye. I have about 70% sensation.
- Other than that, all sensations were normal (when I checked after the taping was removed on the 3rd day after surgery, all sensations were almost normal)
- There was a lump in the front cheek when I smiled. Much looser than before.
- No stiffness in cheekbones. (Still not chewing well and grinding everything. I don't want to put too much strain on my cheekbones until the 2nd month)
- The suture area in my mouth is uneven
- I just saw how much my mouth opened, so I put my index finger, middle finger, and ring finger vertically and it fit perfectly.
- No pain anywhere on the face.
- I took 6 boxes of New Care in 2 weeks and gained 5kg, but I didn't lose it.
How can 6mm cheekbones improve the quality of life so much? Really

Contouring surgery is really the last resort.
If you can do it through dermatological procedures or diet, don't touch the bones.
I had surgery at the age of 37 after worrying about it for 15 years.
Because I want to live with the face I want before I die.
Personally, I am 500% satisfied with the success, to the point of screaming, but
it is a risky surgery that can have side effects.
I hope everyone chooses carefully.
