The story of a dermatologist who swindled customers' money

This was in the local newspaper, but
 it was so quiet that no one but the victims knew about it.
 
Was it 2021?
 There was a franchise dermatology clinic that was doing well until then.
 It was a Daegu branch, and until 2-3 weeks before it closed, it
 pretended to be doing normal business and made customers sign up for packages...
 (= received deposits)
 
And then it closed down.
 After closing,
 they reassured customers that they were remodeling and would reopen in 2-3 months...
 
But 2-3 months later, when I asked about the remaining treatments because I thought the remodeling was finished,
 they said they had moved from Daegu to Daejeon...????
 (They didn't even announce the move until I asked first...ㅠ)
 
When I asked for a refund, they said they understood, but
 they kept delaying it for this and that reason...
 It's been over a year and they still haven't done it...
 Now they're ignoring all my calls and pretending not to know meㅠㅠ
 
They said they moved to Daejeon...
 They just closed the Daegu branch and opened a new one in Daejeonㅠ
 Are there a lot of places that scam customers like this??
 I don't know how to deal with it so I'm just living my life ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅠㅠㅠ
 
(For reference, the Daejeon branch is still operating well~~, and
 the Daegu branch has closed down but is still showing up in the Sungye Hospital information)
