Surgery I received: Chin Advancement + Jihyuk & Jii
2/1 Day of surgery
- Swelling like a pufferfish haha
- Don't you check the line on the first day? When the surgery was over, I couldn't check the line because it was already a pufferfish
- There was an orange bruise around my eye like a panda
- I had tape wrapped around it and a compression bandage
- I couldn't speak at first, but after about an hour I was able to speak slowly.
2/2 Day 2
- It was more subdued than a pufferfish.
- It is appropriate to say that the skin was swollen, it feels like the inside of the skin was filled with water with a syringe
- I put an ice pack around my eyes when I slept and the red bruises subsided a little
- I continued to fight against the bruises, and if I didn't put an ice pack on them, the bruises would continue. I can see it lifting
- the pressure bandage is finally taken off!!
- One finger is in
2/3 Day 3
- It's swollen, but it's gone down a lot compared to yesterday!
- The bruise has faded a lot and the extent has been reduced
- Red bruise -> changed to a light purple bruise
2/4 Day 4
- The large swelling seems to have disappeared and only a
small amount of swelling remains - The swelling has become barely noticeable (I wonder if it's just a little swollen) degree)
- The bruising has faded, so I haven't used an ice pack since
- Other than the tape, there seems to be no problem on the outside.
The 4th to 6th days are similar, so there is nothing to
write down
, so I took care of the swelling
- Potassium is good for swelling, so eat foods containing potassium. What I took (banana, egg yolk)
- I didn't take the pill because I thought it would be too much potassium to take as a pill
- Walk for 30 minutes
What I didn't pay attention to
- High pillow (I couldn't sleep because it was uncomfortable)
- Swelling medication
- Pumpkin juice
Surprisingly, I didn't get bloated. It was!!!
I think it's because I have a constitution that doesn't swell easily and because I'm strong. Also, if you look at the reviews of people who have had their chin augmented at this hospital, I have seen reviews saying that the swelling was less, so I think it may be a combination of several things.
Since I'm an office worker, I was worried if the swelling didn't go down until the holidays, but I'm glad it went away before the holidays. I don't think my parents will notice during the holidays.
