When getting rhinoplasty, do you always use ear cartilage and nasal septum together?

It's a short nose, but to get the shape I want at once, do I have to use the nasal septum and ear cartilage together?
 I
 had a septal deviation correction surgery before, so I know that some of the nasal septum was cut off,
 but if the amount is insufficient, can't it be used together with the ear cartilage? I had my first consultation today, and of course, the ear cartilage and nasal septum are used together, but they are used differently.
 I heard that if the amount of the nasal septum is insufficient, I have to use donated ribs, is that right..?
 Since this is my first rhinoplasty, I want to do it only with my own cartilage ㅠㅠㅠ
