•Before the surgery,
I had been contemplating surgery for a long time due to my wide forehead. My friend had forehead reduction at Kirin, and it went so well that I made an appointment for a consultation and came to the hospital.
During the consultation, he looked at the elasticity of my scalp and gave me a rough design, but he told me that my scalp's elasticity might not have been good, so it might not shrink as much as I wanted. If I pull too hard, the scars can get worse and hair loss can occur, so I was able to trust them more because they said they would only perform the surgery as much as possible!
While I was there, I wanted to get more advice about the parts I have a complex about, so I got a consultation for my nose. I was surprised that she told me about the parts I was worried about. Haha. She
also said that silicone is burdensome, so she recommended getting it done without silicone.
I also had nose surgery Pomppu for a while haha..
I wasn't thinking about cheekbone surgery, but I was always worried about my cheekbones, and the clown director was available for consultation, so let's get a consultation! I received counseling with that in mind.
I had a CT scan first and received a consultation, and he assured me that it would be a good case for cheekbone surgery and that there would be almost no sagging, so I think I set a date as if I was fascinated... I was originally a
very cautious person, so I was planning on selling things here and there, but I was so satisfied with the consultation that I decided to go straight to the date. I think I made a reservation!
•Post-surgery
The surgery was performed at 11 a.m. in the order of cheekbones and forehead.
When I entered the operating room, I was so scared that I wanted to run away... but
because the surgery had already been done, I lay down crying and eating mustard. When I opened my eyes after being given anesthesia, everything was over
. I lay in the recovery room for an hour and a half, but as soon as the time was up, I came out and was discharged.
It may have been cold in the operating room, but it was so cold during recovery that I was still cold even though I covered myself with several layers of blankets. I tend to get extremely cold.
Even the oxygen mask felt so cold that after a while I asked them to take it off.
On the first day, I slept sitting up and had a hard time with nosebleeds all the time. From the next day, I slept lying down with a high pillow.
For the first few days, I only drank soy milk and ate soft foods like castella and pumpkin porridge.
I heard that going for a walk is good for reducing swelling, so I went for a walk with my face puffy and bandaged haha
+ I drank a lot of juice that was said to be good for swelling...
Since the surgery was on a Saturday, I visited the hospital on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and had
a CT scan for my cheekbones on Monday. I took a picture, checked the progress, and had my forehead stitches removed on Saturday! For the remaining days, I was disinfected and given antibiotics.
When I compared the CT scan before and after the surgery, my face definitely got smaller... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, I did a good job ^^
The director told me to take a photograph as a souvenir and personally took a photograph of the monitor screen. I was very grateful that he took a lot of photographs, hahahaha.
The surgery went perfectly well. I was relieved to receive it.
They originally said it would be fixed in 3 layers, but they said it was fixed in 4 layers! Thank you for fixing it firmly.
I keep my forehead clean and well-maintained, so I just need to keep doing it as I am now. You also gave me precautions, so I've been taking care of it carefully until now!!
The scar on my forehead seems to be worse than I thought ㅠㅠ I think it's because it's still in the early stages and the scar looks red, so I'll wait and see for up to 3 months!!
I also bought scar ointment and apply it regularly.
*Pain
There was no pain in my forehead, and I think the pain only lasted about 24 hours in my cheekbones.
If you look at other people's reviews, they say they suffered from severe headaches after forehead reduction, but surprisingly, my head didn't hurt at all!!
I took the prescribed medication regularly and took additional Tylenol when I had pain in my cheekbones.
After 24 hours, the major pain disappeared and I don't think I suffered from any pain.
It still hurts when I touch the forehead scar area and cheek area, but it's not so much that it interferes with my daily life, so I'm living carefully~
*
Swelling is still like candy swelling. I lost a lot more weight than when I first started.
The doctor saw it and said I was recovering very quickly!
I walked him every day for a week, and after that, I tried to walk him and move him often, even if not every day!
The swelling on my forehead was so pretty that I really hoped it wouldn't go away. My skin was smooth and it was the prettiest forehead I've ever had in my life.
There are some areas of concern about the swelling and shape of my right cheekbone, but it's been a month so I'll keep an eye on it.
People around me say, “I don’t know what I did, but I became pretty anyway,” haha. It must have been a success, right?
I still have to wait and see, but I'm pretty satisfied!
