Ear cartilage, ear deformity

I used ear cartilage during nose surgery, and it was harvested from the front part. Is there anyone who has noticed that the harvested part is visible or has deformed ears? I didn't use a retainer (?) that maintains the shape of the ear. I took the part called sung in the photo from the front of the ear, but when I touched the back part and compared it to the part that wasn't removed, the convex part disappeared and was flat. When I wear a mask or when my ear is slightly pressed, the cartilage is removed. It seems like the parts that aren't there are bent without any strength. If anyone has experienced this situation, please let me know what you did.
