Since I have been breathing through my mouth since I was young, I have a typical face shape with adenoids, with the midface area turned off and the chin protruding. When I went to the orthodontist, I was told that it was a case of my chin growing backwards and downwards (growing downwards and forwards). So, I have a protruding chin, but it is not noticeable. I was wondering if it would get better with orthodontic treatment, but they say there's almost no external change. I really want to get orthodontic treatment, but my parents are completely against it. What do you think? Isn't it bad?
Isn’t this stressful enough?
