Is there a change in facial shape due to expansion of the dental arches (widening of the nose and cheekbones)?

The orthodontist said that the tooth may or may not be extracted, but you suggested arch expansion first? After that, they said I would have to extract the teeth... No, but I don't like interdental preparations and I really hate arch expansion. I also saw an article saying that if you put on an arch expansion device, it's going to be very forward, and even though my face is already wide and has cheekbones, the arch expansion makes the cheekbones wider. I hate it because I see so many posts saying that the number of reviews has increased, but is there a way to avoid it?  

And if you expand your arches, your nose will spread out and your cheekbones will become really wide? ㅠㅠ
