hi. I am a 24-year-old male who had rhinoplasty. I have a constitution that causes a lot of dermatitis and inflammation easily, so I did not use implants and had plastic surgery for the purpose of reduction. The surgery is done as follows: correction of deviated septum + correction of curved nose + tying of nasal tip cartilage (removal of fatty tissue). I did it and I was very satisfied with the results... But my nose was originally red, but it was the first summer after plastic surgery, it was hot, and my pores got bigger after plastic surgery, so it became more red and inflamed... (I think it had an effect on wearing a mask because I don't have good skin. .) So I applied Sourantra cream and waited, thinking it would subside, but it got even redder, burning and stinging, and yellow pustules came out and got bigger... So I hurriedly took antibiotics to make it go away... but when the inflammation went down, I noticed that my nose had gotten bigger due to the scar tissue... After researching, they said my symptoms were rosacea dermatitis..? So, I asked at the university hospital (otolaryngology department) where I had the surgery, and they said it wasn't breast fat because they didn't have implants, but that the outer layer of the skin had thickened... So, we discussed what to do, and because of my constitution, this kind of dermatitis subsides as I get into my mid to late 20s, so we discussed whether or not to have skin excision surgery… (You have to be careful because it can cause scars...) So, I'm planning to go to the dermatology department at the same hospital the day after tomorrow and hear the story there... Also, I have an appointment at the otolaryngology department at Asan Hospital in June, so I'm thinking of going there after I finish class... ) I think I wrote it too out of context... To sum it up, the inflammation caused by rosacea dermatitis (?) has caused my chest to become too big and I am worried about my nose getting too big... It's so hard... I can't even take off the mask because of my nose and skin... While wearing a mask. My skin gets worse and worse, and then I calm it down again with antibiotics or ointments. It's a vicious cycle. It's driving me crazy. The
first picture is before plastic surgery.
The 2nd photo is a month after plastic surgery, and the major swelling in the nose has gone down. It's similar to the size of my nose now. The
3rd photo is 6 months after plastic surgery, before major inflammation appears. It's already slightly enlarged due to minor inflammation.
4 The third photo shows the nose becoming too large overall due to major inflammation at 7 months.
