When I was diagnosed with rhinoplasty, they scared me by saying that even if I had functional surgery at just one place, I wouldn't know if it was the first time, and if it was a repeat surgery, I would never get a refund?
So, I just did it at another hospital that said they would take care of the documents and didn't expect a refund, but since it included the actual cost and the surgery fee, I received a refund equal to the functional cost.
Of course, there may be differences between insurance companies, but the emphasis on absolute is so ridiculous.
The hospital where I had surgery takes care of the documents as much as possible, but they said that it is difficult to guarantee refunds due to differences in insurance companies
. I had heard that the refund review was as strict as it was,
but even though I had type 2 functional septal deviation and inferior turbinate, I was shocked to hear that it was
absolutely true. I thought there would be no functional refund, so I searched and was told that refund is only possible if you are an otolaryngologist. I knew that.
That sounds like something a doctor would say, not a plastic surgeon.
I don't know when the terms and conditions will change, but I had surgery by a plastic surgeon at the end of February
and received a good refund. It looks like the surgery went well!
