When will the bruising and swelling go down after rhinoplasty (osteotomy, septum correction)?

I had a slightly curved nose so they said they'd use ear cartilage for the tip
 of my nose, but since my ears are already clean, I guess they used my septum...? And they said they'd have to cut the bone before the surgery to make it thin, so I
 said okay. On the day of the surgery, it didn't hurt and there wasn't as much swelling as I thought, but the next day it just got really swollen and the bruising was really bad.... I was told that I'd be fine to go to work for the 4th day without any problems, and that I'd be fine other than wearing a cast, but what do I do..? I bought pumpkin tea, fox tea, and angelica tree extract to reduce the bruises and swelling, and I'm currently at a management shop and getting an LDM to reduce the swelling, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better... They said there's laser treatment for bruising, so how about the V-Beam Perfecta at ㄹㄴㅁ Dermatology...? It's really expensive, but does it work?
 How do I get rid of the bruises...
