Excessive treatment for cavities before correction

I started orthodontic treatment at a fairly large dental clinic in Gangnam in 2020. It lasted about a year and I'm quite satisfied with it. But now that I
 
think about it, I was told that I had to get checked for cavities before putting braces on the first day, but I ended up with 11 cavities. ..? They asked for a few hundred dollars, 15 to 20 per cavity.
 But I didn't have that kind of money, and I could get cavities treated in the neighborhood, so I went to a local dentist, but
 instead of treating 11, they only treated 2 cavities that looked like they had the potential to grow.
 It's been a while, but thinking about it now, I feel a little uncomfortable. Do~~
