When will the swelling go away like the nose surgery avatar nose?

Today is the 7th day, so I removed the functional nose stitches and disinfected it, but as soon as I took the splint off, I thought, 'Wow, that's it.' There's an iguana that looks like a reptile somewhere. My nose seems to have gotten a lot longer... According to the doctor and nurse, it's not because my nose is longer, but because the area between my eyebrows is swollen. They say that if it falls out, it makes you look thinner, but when did the people who had nose surgery lose their avatar nose?
