It's been a little over a month since I had two types of contouring (chin length reduction, long curve), and there's still swelling along the jaw line, so it's hard to judge accurately, but I think I've reduced the length less than I thought. (Even though there's swelling, my face definitely feels smaller than before. )
In the consultation after deciding on surgery, I made a ㅅ incision and set back 0.2 mm, and the exact number of millimeter length was not mentioned, so my goal is to make it as short as possible. Will it be about 1 centimeter shorter? When I asked, I remember the director said that I could roughly think of it that way, but when I asked about the results of the surgery, he said it was reduced by 0.4 mm. They say it was reduced as much as possible in a safe position because the facial proportions, nerve lines, and tooth roots are long. I think they cut too little. As time went by, my feelings became more complicated. (Should I say that it is a bit meaningless compared to the time, money, and hard work?) I
also think that it would have been better if I had told them more accurately during the consultation that the length would be shortened by a few millimeters..
The same goes for the bone pictures. I feel like I've gotten smaller in appearance, but when I hear the number in millimeter, I feel like my satisfaction is dropping. What should I do about this?!ㅠㅠ I'm really curious about how many millimeters is normal when reducing chin length.ㅠㅠ!!
(I didn't measure the length of my chin before the surgery. If I measure it from the tip of my lower lip now, it's about 3cm-3.3cm, so I wonder if it's long!!)
