If you look at before and after photos of nostril reduction, why do most of the nostrils look like this?

What I want are the nostrils in the top picture, but
 except for a few, most of them have sharp outer edges like the nostrils in the bottom picture
 . The nostrils are reduced significantly. What I really don't understand is that they make an incision at the bottom of the side of the nostrils and bring them together. Why is it that they are brought together with nostrils like this instead of /\? (exGD/Jang Geun-suk/Lee Jong-seok's nose) (Like a hole) Even though
 the nostrils are dramatically reduced and look pretty when viewed from the front, it is rare for the nostrils to be reduced beautifully when viewed from an angle below.
