I have an arrow nose with a curved beak, and maybe because of my arrow nose, my nose looks spread out when I smile.
I just didn't like the overall appearance, so I decided to have the surgery. I searched for reviews, looking into places where the surgeon had a long history, places that were famous for rhinoplasty, places that were well-known, places that looked natural, etc.
All the hospitals I looked into had different reviews, but I wondered if each person's experience would be different, so I visited several hospitals myself.
And while going to the consultation, I consider things like whether the director's consultation is detailed and helpful to me, whether he looks at me honestly without excessive treatment, whether he catches what I want well and listens well, whether the appearance is natural without artificiality, and whether he provides good follow-up care. I saw it! (I didn't really care about the cost, so it was off topic.)
As a result, ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ was a place that worked well with me, so I decided to go here.
After taking a photo of my face before the consultation, I consulted with the director. He asked me directly what kind of nose I wanted and clearly explained that this part can be improved with surgery and this part is difficult to improve even with surgery.
Since I currently have a moderate nose bridge and the curve is not severe, they said that I could achieve the nose shape I wanted by grinding it down and using no implants. (The director said that I could use silicone if I wanted, but he recommended non-implants more.)
I also wasn't thinking about putting silicone in, so I decided to just grind the bridge of the nose and do the tip of the nose.
I decided to fix the spread part with a cartilage tie at the tip of the nose.
I'm not too worried because it seems like the lines are done naturally on their own, but I'm still nervous because it's my first surgery.. ㅠㅠ
What about the progress and follow-up care after the surgery? They said that when they receive the same thing, the director will personally look at it.
There is no separate osteotomy, but when will the bruising and swelling go away after the surgery?
I heard that pumpkin juice helps with swelling, but I'm not sure whether to order a box or not...
