How much force do you have to exert on your eyes after double eyelid surgery?

I had double eyelid surgery and eye correction surgery last time. It's been almost 4 weeks now. Eye correction surgery usually involves pulling the muscles that open your eyes to make it easier to open your eyes, right? But I used to have sleepy eyes that I would usually relax my eyes, and even after eye correction surgery, I still look sleepy when I relax my eyes... I can definitely feel that the muscles that open my eyes have gotten stronger. But when I relax my eyes, my eyes go back to their previous size and sleepy eyes. Do I have to keep tensing my eyes a little bit?
 
Do other people who have had eye correction surgery relax their eyes 100% after getting it? Or do they open their eyes with a certain amount of tension?
 It's because the difference in my impression is huge when I relax my eyes at home and when I relax my eyes a little outside. ㅜㅜ
