My eyes are swollen right now, lol.
Compared to the first-day pictures of other people who got the surgery, I have a lot of bruising and swelling..? This is it ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ`༽ This is
my first plastic surgery and I was thinking of getting a non-incision epicanthoplasty, but
after going to 4 places and not getting many recommendations for eye correction, I got a natural adhesion epicanthoplasty, which is what I wanted. I
got a discount on the condition of posting a review on the app and website. What
I'm writing now is not an advertisement! It's my personal review!!
Here's my surgery review!
I fasted for 4 hours before the surgery, went to the hospital, washed my face with cleansing foam, and gargled! I went with
a bare face too. And I took pictures because it was an event. I even wore a headband. It's a little embarrassing^^;
Then I waited for a while and went to the surgical floor.
I was guided to change into my surgical gown and changed into it. I took off my underwear on top and the hospital gave me sanitary panties to wear underneath!
They tell me to go to the bathroom and rest, and when I say I'm done, they guide me to a place like a consultation room. The person who guided me seemed a bit weak? ㅋㅋㅋ I thought he was tired ㅠ But he explained everything to me when I asked, and
after I had my consent for surgery and listened to this and that, the doctor came
. He asked me to show him the pictures I brought, so I showed them and I thought it was an in-out line, but he said it was a big in-line! By the way, the pictures I brought were of Jisoo and Jang Wonyoung's eyes. Do you know what it feels like.. natural but a little flashy..? ㅎㅁㅎ
They designed my eyes while looking in the mirror, put dots on my eyes, asked me what I was curious about, and the doctor left. I waited for about 30 minutes to prepare for the surgery and went into the operating room
, but... my only memory of the operating room is that it was so coldㅋㅋㅋ It felt like I went into a refrigerator ㅜㅜ I think I had the surgery while shivering! It was general anesthesia and local anesthesia, so they put general anesthesia medicine in my arm and made me lie down and secure my arms, legs, and head with Velcro so that I couldn't move!
The nurse told me that it's because you can get hurt if you move while under anesthesia. I was so nervous, so she told me not to be too nervous, and she covered me with a blanket because I was cold. She took
out only my face and covered my face with something like green surgical cloth. The doctor came and looked at me carefully while drawing lines one last time before going into the surgery. He drew pictures on my eyes. After he finished drawing them, he said he would put some medicine in them, and I was put into the world of general anesthesia...
It really felt like riding a roller coaster... Do you know the movie Ant-Man? Ant-Man shrinks really small and enters some kind of quantum realm? It felt exactly like thatㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I really thought that's what drugs feel like. It was an amazing experience. And I could slowly hear the nurse and the doctor talking. I thought they were doing something to my eyes, and it felt real! Then they told me to open my eyes three times (if I remember correctly), so I looked at the lines and closed them again. It
didn't hurt because it was local anesthesia, but it felt like they were pressing my eyes tightly with something like a rock? Come in ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
And then they said it was all over. It felt really fast..
And then I slowly got up and came down from the operating table and a nurse helped me to the recovery room and I rested while getting an IV in my arm. Oh
, and they put an ice pack on my eyes.
I slowly came to my senses and all sorts of thoughts went through my
mind. 'Wow.. I got double eyelids..? I really did it..?? What is this? I now have double eyelids. Amazing? It was over faster than I thought.. It didn't hurt at all.'
Thoughts like that.. After I finished getting the IV, the nurse came and told me to slowly open my eyes and I sat down for about 5 minutes. Then I changed into my uniform and was discharged!
When I was leaving, she explained to me when the stitches would be removed, how to manage the swelling, and where the pharmacy was. She gave me an ice pack and a pumpkin juice.
I'm going back in a week to get the stitches removed!
I took the subway to go but it was hell because it overlapped with work hours..ㅎㅎ It was really crazy ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I hadn't fully worn off from the anesthesia Kekeke When I was
going home, the hospital texted me a YouTube link and when I checked it out, it said, "Are you getting home okay?" And the doctor who performed the surgery came out and explained the care methodㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
By the time I almost got home, the anesthesia had almost worn off so my eyes were really sore and sore (;´@̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧ _ @̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̷̶̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧̢̧`;) I quickly got home and was hungry because I had fasted so I ate and took some medicine. I felt better because I took some painkillers. I'm using an ice pack right now and it's working hehe
. I don't know the lines well because the swelling is still there, but you're famous for being so skilled! Looking back at the review photos, I'm waiting for the swelling to go down nicely >_< The hospital atmosphere overall wasn't bad, so it was okay.
It was around 1.5 million won, but I got it down to 1.4 million won with the review photo discount. Kookmin Bank has an interest-free installment plan for up to 5 months, so I paid that way before going in for the surgery!
I'll upload a review photo later when the swelling goes down!!!
If you have any tips for reducing swelling, please let me know!
If you have any questions, I'll let you know.
