I got it done in Cheongju on the recommendation of my friends.
When I went for consultations at two places in Seoul, I talked to the head of the consultation room most of the time, and the head of the consultation room was busy calling the doctor who was running the surgery, and had a very brief consultation with me. The doctor said, "Oh, then do you have epicanthoplasty too? Hmm...yeah...okay, then I guess that'll work." Then he left right away, and I sat down with the head of the consultation room to talk about the surgery and the price. Both places did double eyelid burial and epicanthoplasty, and the estimates came to 65-75!
But since my house is in the countryside and going up to Seoul was too much of a hassle, I started looking into local plastic surgery clinics, but my friends recommended Yonsei that has a good one, so I made an appointment and waited a week for the consultation. The doctor consulted with me from the beginning to the end and clearly showed me the line that he would take care of and showed me how it would turn out. He also said that
I needed to get an epicanthoplasty and that I would probably need eye correction as well. (To be honest, the friend who recommended me said that I wanted to get an epicanthoplasty, but the doctor said that my eyes didn't need it and that if I kept being stubborn, I should go somewhere else to get plastic surgery. So I didn't get it and just got double eyelid surgery, and it turned out really pretty and my eyes looked refreshing... So I was actually worried about what would happen if I didn't get an epicanthoplasty, but luckily the doctor said that I should do it ^^ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ)
And the price is amazing; Double eyelid surgery is 100 (eye correction is also done at this price if necessary
+ forehead reduction is 60 (originally 80, but since it is done together with double eyelid surgery, it is 60......ㅡ.ㅡ)
So the total estimate came out to 160.
It is more than double the prices of the two hospitals in Seoul~......... I really thought about it a lot,
but I did it in Cheongju because the doctor seemed trustworthy and skilled.
Seoul is a famous place, but I liked the price too ㅋㅋㅋ To be
honest, it is a bit... should I say it is factory-style? The surgery is 45 minutes to 1 hour, and they keep inserting patients in between, so the surgery schedule is jam-packed.
But in Cheongju, the doctor says the surgery time is 2 hours, and they only receive 3~4 patients a day, or at most 4~5, so I liked this part the most.
Oh, and they never negotiate the price; it was frustrating ㅋㅋ
And they take pictures before and after the surgery (it seems like the doctor studied the patient's eye condition~ This part was okay~)
Please know that Seoul is not necessarily good.
1. The doctor is the patient 1. Listen to the opinion and understand the patient's needs as much as possible and operate accordingly.
2. Figure out what kind of surgery is necessary to achieve a result that the patient is satisfied with.
3. Operate the surgery to a level that does not cause side effects to the extent that it is not excessive.
4. Do not operate under a tight schedule due to a surgery schedule bomb.
There may be more, but for me, this was the most important. I think the price is really the last thing!
Do it at a place you can trust~~
