I am a 31-year-old male. I have always had a complex about my asymmetrical chin and long chin (in my opinion), but since I recently had some spare money, I decided to get chin surgery and went for a consultation. I am writing this review on the bus ride back to the countryside after finishing my consultation. The interior of the hospital is as clean and neat as any other hospital (I think I read in another article that it is not that old). I felt that the staff was very kind (I have never been to another hospital in Seoul, so I am writing this objectively). It was my first appointment, but there were other visitors. There were two or three Chinese people, but since there are staff members in the hospital who can speak Chinese, there seemed to be no major problems with communication and consultation. After filling out a simple chart, taking a CT scan, and consulting with the kind director, I met the director. The director is pleasant, just like other consultation reviews. First, I told him what surgery I wanted and what kind of face shape I wanted. The director said, “If you consider my words by editing the CT image and reflecting my opinion (asymmetry improvement without touching the nerves and maximum effect: 6.8mm incision), the surgery will proceed like this and the results will be like this.” When the director saw me, he told me the direction of the surgery he thought would be done (the muscles under the chin are developed (I enjoy weight training, so my face is tense, so my neck and jaw muscles are developed). If I incise too much, the length will be shortened, but the jaw muscles will protrude, creating a double chin, so 4mm incision and asymmetry improvement) and edited the photo. After that, after talking about various cases of surgery, I had another consultation with the director and went home.
When I went into another consultation with the director, I told him that I would have the surgery, deposited the deposit, and had blood tests, blood pressure, X-rays, and electrocardiogram tests. I decided to have the 4mm incision and asymmetry improvement as the director said. When I looked for reviews, there were some that said 4mm is not noticeable, but when the director told me to look in the mirror and said that it would be about this much with my hand, it looked okay. I also really liked the way the staff kept giving me drinks while I was waiting, and the director seemed confident and nice while giving me advice, so I think I made my decision right away.
Thank you for reading the long post. I will come back with a surgery review next time.
