Hello, I am looking at ㅁ ㅇㅁㄷㄱ
among cheek surgery hospitals.
I understand perfectly well that the
common surgical method is through an incision inside the mouth, which involves making an incision inside the mouth, cutting the cheekbone, and repositioning it to fix it.
They cut the cheekbone from the outside and push it in without looking at the bone, and then they just close it. But what I'm curious about is how they push it in. After cutting the bone, do they push it in with hand pressure and suture the incision to complete the surgery? I think it is a bit contradictory that the hospital said that if the bone moves under that much pressure, there is no need to worry about nonunion because the periosteum is not separated.
If it is pushed in by a few millimeters with external pressure, isn't there a high probability that it will return to its original position without fixing it?
Even if the fusion is good after pushing and suturing, I am worried that the margin of error when pushing is too large.
I'm not sure if you understand what I want to say. It's very difficult to explain in words because there are no pictures.
If anyone knows the detailed surgery method, please let me know ㅜㅜ
And I'm curious about the reviews of seniors who had surgery here.
Did the fusion go well and do you have any sagging cheeks? Please give me an honest review!
