The human torso has a large cylinder that holds the spine strong.
Cylinder refers to the four core muscles deep within the body. These are the multifidus, transverse abdominis, pelvic floor muscles, and diaphragm.
When these muscles are activated together, stability is created in a cylindrical shape, which reduces the burden on the vertebrae, muscles, and connective tissues.
However, when these muscles become weak, stability in the core decreases, causing more back pain or spinal diseases. Most back pain patients or herniated disc patients have poor function of these muscles.
Core muscles are the muscles that ensure the stability of our body and maintain correct posture.
If your core is not stable, your body will become unbalanced and your bones and muscles will become more and more imbalanced.
Therefore, if the core muscles are weak, it can cause pelvic distortion, neck, lumbar disc herniation, or scoliosis.
When the pelvis is distorted, blood and lymph circulation is impaired, the body becomes cold, and metabolism slows down.
Eventually, the activity of surrounding organs decreases, fat accumulation and internal function deteriorate, and the body becomes prone to gaining weight, leading to internal obesity.
In the case of women, urinary incontinence may occur due to weakened pelvic floor muscles after childbirth. Always
think of core muscle exercise as an exercise that you should not skip, along with aerobic exercise, and always do it as a habit!!
have a good day!!
