he did the procedure for about 40 minutes. It felt like they were stamping small, hot stamps on my face. So, when the machine first touches me, it's cold, but it gradually increases in temperature while making a beeping sound. It's a really warm feeling, but when the energy is applied once, it feels like my face is being stamped with fire. When I was getting it done, my face must have been a mess. I thought that, but when I looked in the mirror after the procedure was over, there were no symptoms and my skin was the same. It felt like a stamp of fire was applied.
I don't think the pain was unbearable, and personally, I feel that the pain from Ulthera was worse and more painful. Ulthera is an electric stimulation that feels like it's scraping the nerves near the facial bones, but Thermage feels like pressing an iron on your face, so I personally don't like Ulthera any more. It
's been about a week, but honestly, I don't know if it's really effective. In my case, Ulthera was the treatment that showed the effect right away, but I'm not sure about Thermage yet.
The doctor said that it will get better for up to 6 months and then peak and the effect will decline, but since it's expensive, I just hope it's effective.
I paid about 230 for 600 shots. I made up my mind and got it. My face is really sagging.
