I had to pay a reservation fee for a plastic surgery clinic, but
canceled it 4 days before the surgery due to family circumstances.
The hospital was adamant that no refund was
given. I contacted
the Korea Consumer Protection Agency,
and the refund policy was minus 10% of the reservation fee 4 days before
the application . Even the Consumer Protection Agency said
that if the hospital doesn't know until the end,
there is no answer, so I have to file a civil payment order
. 15 days after reporting,
the hospital contacted me saying they would
refund the money. The Consumer Protection Agency representative
called the hospital every day and
bothered me, so they
said they would refund it . Even if the hospital stipulates that it is not possible in advance
to avoid having to pay the deposit,
it is their rule and you
can easily pay civilly online. They say that if you go through with the order,
you will most likely get a refund.
