I had orthodontic treatment for three years, from my first year of high school to my third year of high school.
I originally had crooked teeth and only had an extra tooth on one side, so I thought it was stress, but in the end, I think I did a good job.
I ate everything I could while doing braces. Except for the curry that turns yellow because it's ceramic braces. The day I got the braces in, it was a little painful, but it was bearable. There were days when I took Tylenol and slept, but I didn't have much stress if I thought of it as a process of my teeth complex getting better.
The most painful time was at the beginning of orthodontic treatment, when I didn't have any wire braces on, they put some kind of thick rubber band around my molars, and because of that, my teeth all moved forward and my bite wasn't right? At that time, it was hard to keep my mouth shut and it was hard to eat anything. At the next visit, the rubber band was removed and I felt better, but within a few days? It was so painful that I still remember it years later. When I think about it now, I don't know why I did that. I myself doubted whether it was intended to make the before photo more serious.
Anyway, overall, I am satisfied with the correction, but
there is one thing that is disappointing. The center line of the teeth does not match the center of the face. I
took out the braces in a hurry during my senior year of high school, so I was worried about it at that time. I didn't use it, but as I became an adult and became more interested in my face, I noticed that the center line of my teeth was leaning to one side. As an adult, I talked to the hospital and they said that my teeth were crooked and that this was enough;; I regret not taking a closer look before taking the braces off.
Also, if there is one thing you must pay attention to while getting braces, brush your teeth!
Be sure to brush your teeth well... Especially between teeth!
Orthodontic treatment is already very expensive, and I had a lot of cavities, so I felt really sorry to my parents for having to treat them. It costs twice as much between teeth!
When I was in high school, I drank a lot of coffee and had braces, but I didn't brush my teeth as hard, so my teeth became discolored, and that's a shame. But
they're better than before, so I'm satisfied anyway... Haha,
even if I go back, I will still get braces, but I think I will manage and deal with it more wisely!
