My upper teeth were severely protruding, so I went to a lot of dentists for preliminary orthodontic treatment starting in the 4th grade of elementary school. They told me that I wouldn't have to extract teeth with preliminary orthodontic treatment, so I continued with that, but after all my permanent teeth came out, I started main orthodontic treatment in the winter of 6th grade in elementary school. I
changed dentists from the main orthodontic department, and in the end, four teeth were extracted. I corrected it by inserting two screws!
Mr. Clippy? (It's been a while so I don't remember much) and there were no additional costs except for the tooth extraction! I don't remember the initial cost...
I got a retainer after orthodontic treatment, and lost it twice. They said they would charge me the cost the next time I lost it, but they never did. Haha. And until now (in my early 20s), I have been living with a wire attached to the inside of my lower teeth and wearing a retainer every night. Yes, haha,
what I still remember is that I changed the wire in the middle of braces and it hurt for just two days. I remember eating steak on the day I got braces... haha,
I'm satisfied with my braces! In fact, they say that if it takes a short period of time, it comes back easily, so I think it was a good idea to keep it longer when I was younger haha, and I'm still maintaining it the same way.
Since it's a comprehensive dental clinic (?), I go for a checkup about once a year to coincide with my dental checkup, and they say I'm good at retainers, so please adjust them little by little haha.
