It's been 1 year now since I had a tooth extracted for a protruding mouth and had correction for 2 and a half years.
The image has changed a lot. There are many good points, but after correction, I lost a lot of facial fat, my cheekbones became more prominent, and my face, especially the philtrum, became much longer. The upper lip becomes thinner.
And for people with weak teeth, the roots may also become shorter.
Anyway, I can't eat a lot of hard or chewy foods after braces. The retainer is falling off and it's bad for my teeth.
It's still a hassle to have to keep the retainer for another year.
Still, I have no regrets because it has improved so much.
