Review of 1 month after double jaw surgery (long post)

I had double jaw surgery and chin surgery in early February. It hasn't been that long since I had the surgery, but I think there are many people at Sungyesa who are worried about double jaw surgery and jaw contouring. I know the stress and worries I experienced before the surgery, and I think it will be of some help. I'll write a review. -Reason for double jaw surgery I also worried about the surgery for 6-7 years. Before the surgery, I had a long face, a protruding mouth, a slightly protruding chin, facial asymmetry, and most of all, I was old.  My friends didn't check my ID, and even though my older brother and I are much older, strangers think I'm my older sister... I was stressed out since I was young, and I think I looked into double jaw surgery a lot as an adult. Even while I was looking into it, I was scared of the pain and side effects after the surgery, so I gave up and looked into it again several times.  I was stressed out for years, and after worrying about it for years, I finally made up my mind and had the surgery a while ago. Many people don't tell their parents before the surgery, but I was stressed out for a long time, and my parents knew that, so when I told them I was going to have the surgery, they thankfully encouraged me instead of trying to stop me. - The day of the surgery~Recovery process Briefly When the day of the surgery that I had been waiting for came the day before, I wasn't as nervous as I thought. I had been mind-controlling myself that the surgery would go well, and because the director was so determined and confident in the surgery, I just spent my time imagining how I would change after the surgery. I saw the director one more time before the surgery and went into the operating room. I did mind-control like that, but when I laid down on the operating table, I was really scared. When the anesthesia was injected, I thought, "What if the anesthesia doesn't work or I wake up in the middle?" and at the same time, I said, "Red Sun!" I didn't feel much pain after the surgery. But I was so sleepy that I kept falling asleep even when I tried to wake up. The nurses kept waking me up to get the anesthetic gas out of my body, but I remember falling asleep like I was passing out, and eventually the gas couldn't come out of my body properly, so I had a headache and felt nauseous. If you have surgery, you have to overcome sleep... Anyway, on the first day, my stomach was so queasy that I couldn't even get an epidural, but it wasn't that painful, so it was okay. I don't know if the director did a good job with the surgery or if I'm good at it, but the swelling and bruising weren't that bad . There was almost no bruising, so it was amazing . On the second day, it was the most painful to remove the blood clot. But, ugh! It was over in 2-3 seconds, so don't worry too much... I spent about 3 days in the hospital and came home. The three hardest things after being discharged were a stuffy nose, a wafer + maxillary fixation, and taking antibiotics ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ The stuffy nose cleared up after suffering for exactly a week, and the wafer and maxillary fixation were frustrating, but I'm getting used to it. Taking antibiotics for a week was so hard that I vomited and went crazy after swallowing the medicineㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I got my stitches out in the second week, and I was so scared because I read so many articles saying that getting stitches out was hell, but maybe because I was so scared, it didn't hurt that much. It was just a stinging sensation in the middle of my nose? But the doctor at the hospital said that the pain felt very different for each person. After getting my stitches out, the wafers were removable, so I could eat porridge and ramen instead of liquid food, and I felt like I was living a normal life and was happy because I was eating real food. I decided to start orthodontic treatment since it's been a month, and I like to eat and talk, so the hardest part was not being able to eat or speak properly after the surgery due to the maxillary fixation. ㅠㅠ And the swelling is still big in my eyes... My family said that the big swelling has already gone down, so it seems to be getting better. It's still a month, so I guess we can say that it's the early stages of the surgery? I want time to pass quickly so that even the remaining swelling goes down!!!!
