I hope everyone is taking care of the coronavirus.
I left a review about 10 days after my double jaw surgery, but it's already been over half a year, so it's been a while since I wrote a review!! Haha,
I already had experience in correcting facial asymmetry and orthodontics due to facial asymmetry and protruding mouth, and while going through this process, I was
often told that my midface looked longer and that I had presbyopia
, so I ended up having double jaw surgery. I had sold it, and the more I received counseling and the more I knew, the more scared I became. Even after the consultation, I thought and hesitated and ended up having surgery
. It was not an easy decision to make, and as a result, people around me said that my current level of satisfaction was younger, and my face got really small. The response to my back was really
great. Just by looking at the before and after CT photos, I could clearly feel that the mid-face area had shrunk!!
I felt the major swelling go down after about 3 months after surgery!
I thought it would have all gone by now, but it's been 6 months and the swelling is still going down!! I had discomfort in my mouth or chewing food until the 4th week, but now it's not there at all. I
was worried that I wouldn't be able to open my mouth, but after 3 months, I can yawn and sneeze as easily as usual. The hospital told me to practice opening my mouth, but
I worked hard. But now, 6 months later, my mouth is opening wide enough to fit four fingers in. I
go to the hospital once a month to check on my progress. I don’t think I have any other concerns at the moment! (Except for Corona...) )
Right now, I'm chewing hard foods well and eating all the foods I couldn't eat before. It's really good, isn't it? ^_^
Then, I'll watch it a little more and leave a review if it gets better. Be
careful of Corona!!
