I had a face with protruding cheekbones and a protruding mouth. And because it was asymmetrical, I felt stressed every time I took a picture. Most of the time, I didn't take pictures that showed my entire face, and when I did, I either covered my face with my hand or only showed half of it.
My older sister convinced her mom to get the surgery before me, and it was better than I imagined. It came back fine haha. The swelling seemed to go down quickly, and more than anything, I was envious of the natural face shape and smaller face after the surgery. So, I went to get a consultation, and the director and manager spoke well and were kind, which made me feel at ease. More than anything else, I had confidence because it was the hospital where my sister had surgery. I had seen my
sister's recovery process right next to me, so I expected that it would be difficult right after the surgery, but I had surgery. And the most difficult thing was not being able to sleep well and breathing. It was very difficult right after I was discharged from the hospital, but after about the 5th day, I was able to breathe better and I was able to drink water and soup well, so my condition gradually improved.
The swelling went down well for a while, but now it seems to have plateaued. Still, I like my face line much better than before. After checking my progress for a month last week, I broke up with the screw that used to get in my way when I smiled, so it's much easier to smile!! I hope you recover quickly ㅠ
