Hello,
I'm going to write a review of orthognathic surgery while joining Sungyesa while doing nose surgery this time!
I underwent preoperative two-jaw surgery due to malocclusion of the protruding jaw (two jaws + square + chin). For
20 years, there were so many criticisms for my appearance that I was too young for, and it was really hard. It was such a big complex and I really wanted to do it.
First of all, the 5 days after the surgery were really painful. The oral respiratory tract was all swollen, so breathing was uncomfortable and it hurt so much. At that time, I felt like experiencing hell
. I asked for it to be elegant and classy.
First of all, the first side effect
is paresthesia. It has returned slightly, but it continues to this day, and the right lower jaw and right lower lip are numb.
It's not a smooth face shape due to being cut.
I contoured both jaws, but the face shape isn't smooth haha. Isn't it surprising?
It may be a side effect of correction, but anyway, I do two types of jaw contouring, and my cheekbones stand out and my cheeks go down, so I look a little old even though I'm relatively young.
The third is asymmetry. The face shape is basically determined by the bones, but the muscles and flesh that make up the outside are also important. In one case, a procedure such as botox is required.
The fourth is a nose spread. In the process of cutting the upper jaw, it is said that there is no choice but to touch the septum of the nose and trim it
. I had severe nose swelling and asymmetry in my nostrils. As the swelling went down, it got better little by little, but it's true that it spread and the shape got weirder than before. You may not be able to use the most preferred and safe nasal septum. Please note that
first of all, if you want to be aesthetically satisfied
with this surgery itself, it must be a really serious case.
There are a lot of sagging skin + cheeks + cheek dents + paresthesia + nose swelling, nose deformity (kebake), so you need to think that additional
plastic surgery or procedures (lifting, fat transplant, fillers), etc. are just It is possible to live, but it is difficult to be aesthetically satisfied.
I recommend that only those who have to do it because of their face shape and malocclusion enough to accept the above side effects. Of course, I have such a face shape, so I do not regret the surgery.
I read a lot of reviews and information before surgery, but there are many things I realized after surgery, so it's a short article, but I hope those who are thinking about surgery read it and find it helpful.
Thank you
