, it's already been 6 months since I had double jaw surgery, and I've returned to my daily life perfectly.
I noticed that my lower jaw was gradually coming out since I was in my third year of middle school, but I didn't really pay any attention to it, but when I was 20 years old, I happened to see my side profile in a photo taken by a friend, and it bothered me so much. I started looking into double jaw surgery.
After consulting with several hospitals in Seoul and thinking about it, the last hospital I visited was Waigugang.
The consultation director was very friendly and the director also provided detailed and kind advice, so I chose the hospital on the same day and decided to have double jaw surgery and 2 types of contouring. I had a square jaw + front jaw surgery.
After 2-3 months, I ate everything except very hard or chewy foods such as almonds or diced squid, but now I can eat all these foods, so I am eating a lot.
And after 6 months, the swelling seems to have gone down, so I go outside. I live without a mask when I go out, and
people around me have told me that my face has become much smaller and my jawline has become slimmer, so I am completely satisfied.
There are effects from the surgery, but I think I have changed even more because I lost weight as well. Above all, I am very satisfied with the improvement in my malocclusion. Before the surgery
, it was difficult to cut off noodles or small foods with my front teeth due to malocclusion, but now I can eat small foods and noodles with my front teeth. I'm so happy!!
The correction hasn't been completed yet, so it's not completely finished, but my occlusion is almost aligned and my external appearance has changed a lot, so I'm very satisfied.
It was very difficult when I was worried about it before the surgery and right after the surgery, but now I think I should have done it sooner haha.
