It's already been 10 months!! Time really seems to fly by haha.
I can't believe it's soon going to be a year since my surgery!!
Now, all that's left is correction, but I'm looking forward to how much better it will look once correction is completed! haha
I've been stressed out due to malocclusion and asymmetry since I was young, so I tried acupuncture at an oriental medicine clinic, and
eventually got double jaw surgery and contouring at Y Oral on 7/6 last year. I had 2 types (square jaw, front jaw) done!!
Now, I'm so used to this face that I can't even remember what I looked like before the surgery. Sometimes, when I look at old pictures, I think that the asymmetry was that serious.
When I think back on it, I didn't like being photographed or taking selfies, but after the surgery. Now I ask people to take pictures and take selfies often haha.
Whenever people I haven't seen in a long time say that I look really pretty, I think I did a really good job with the surgery!
It's really not long after the surgery and I can't even eat, and I wonder if the surgery was for no reason! Even after just a month, I didn’t even think about it! I'm more and more satisfied now haha.
I'm eating really well right now, but since I'm having braces, I try not to eat things like gum or jelly as much as possible. I can eat things that are really hard, but if I chew with my molars, it feels like it's going to be tight because of the braces wire, so I'm adjusting it little by little. I'm doing it!
And if there's anything that's changed, I think my hairstyle has also changed a lot!
In the past, the asymmetry was so severe that it covered the face, but now I tie my hair and it seems like it shows off my face shape more!
If you are worried about surgery due to asymmetry like me, I recommend that you get a consultation at least once.
It was great because the counseling director and director looked after me so thoroughly!!
