hello!
I have malocclusion and facial asymmetry, and after undergoing correction at the Wai Mouth and Maxillofacial Surgery, I had double jaw + 3 types of contouring (zygoma, square jaw, and front jaw) and am now in my 3rd month of post-correction!
When I looked at my face every day, I couldn't really feel the swelling, but when I compared it with the photo taken a month ago,
I saw that it had definitely gone down a lot haha. The director also said that the swelling was not visible to the eye and continued to go down slightly, but
at first it seemed like the swelling wasn't going down very well. I was a little worried, but when I looked at the picture, I saw that it was slowly falling out as the director said. They said it would continue to fall out for up to 6 months, but all the major swelling has gone down, and it looks like only some awkward parts of the face and minor swelling in the philtrum are still left!
It seems that the discomfort caused by double jaw surgery is almost over, and only the discomfort caused by correction remains.
