I had surgery at a university hospital for treatment purposes due to severe malocclusion.
Before surgery, teeth were extracted and orthodontic for about 2 years. After surgery, I had orthodontic treatment for about 1 year.
I am still wearing a tooth retainer.
I even had pins removed.
The side effects I am writing about now, in the 8th year, are under the lower lip. My senses are a bit dull. If my normal senses are 100, maybe about 70?
Immediately after the surgery, I had almost no sensation, so I thought the surgery was a failure,
but I recovered slowly, so there is no major discomfort in my daily life now.
