Because I had concerns about protruding mouth, gummy smile, and protruding chin, I received consultation for contouring my jaw and underwent surgery at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. When I was planning the surgery date, I was wondering when the surgery would be done and when the swelling and bruising would go away, but it's already been over 6 months.
First of all, as for my current condition, I feel like 99% of the discomfort that was most uncomfortable at the beginning of the surgery has returned. 1% returned perfectly except that the sensation in the chin area was slightly less restored as there was still a lump in the chin.
Both my weight and my diet returned perfectly to my daily life. After the surgery, I couldn't eat properly, so I was forced to go on a diet, and I think I lost about 5 to 8 kg from my original weight. Currently, I am eating everything I want. However, since I am undergoing correction, I am avoiding or eating foods that are too tough or hard. I ate meat, I ate chicken... I think I gained about 3-4kg again because I was eating whatever I wanted haha. I didn't want the weight to come back, but as expected... I'm working out hard to diet~
I had a surgery at the Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery last summer. Consultation and surgery were performed. I am satisfied with my current appearance and I think I made the right decision to have surgery quickly after consultation at the hospital. The surgery date was set on the same day as the consultation. Through the consultation, I was able to find out what kind of surgery was needed and the director's confidence and skills in the surgery. Above all, the biggest advantage was that orthodontic treatment could be performed at the same hospital. You are even a year
younger
and have less time. I really recommend surgery in many cases. I had a complex about my protruding mouth, gummy smile, and jutting chin, so I was nervous and stressed every time I looked in the mirror. But now that these issues have been resolved, my stress has decreased and I naturally stop worrying about what other people think. And complex standards cannot be resolved even if others tell you a hundred times that this is okay. I really wish I could get some counseling. Even if I don't tell you, you can first find out all the parts that I felt were complex and see how they can be resolved through surgery! It
was definitely difficult right after the surgery
Time really flies. In my case, I used a hat and mask for a very long time because I have a constitution where swelling doesn't go away easily, but since I had a long recovery period, I didn't have any inconvenience in my daily life. If I were to give a score for the surgery, I would give it a 95 out of 100 because I was really satisfied with it, except for the fact that I had a hard time for about a week right after the surgery and couldn't eat as much as I wanted.
As I said
before
I hope my review will be helpful :)
