[Before]
I decided to have surgery because I wanted to reduce my side cheekbones, a slight chin, and the mid-face area.
However, at first, I didn't know that I would get double jaw surgery, but my acquaintances strongly recommended this hospital to me, saying that it would be good to have double jaw surgery for my complex!
I remember the first time I went for a consultation with a nervous heart. I bothered to ask a lot of questions, but the counseling director was very kind and answered each and every question, so I calmed down. And since I met the director in person and received detailed consultation about the surgery, I felt confident. Rapid rise..!! I placed a deposit the next day and fixed the surgery date for a month later.
[Day 1]
Because of general anesthesia, I fasted for about 10 hours the day before (no water)
and came to the hospital until 7 a.m. Afterwards, I had a final consultation with the design department and went straight into surgery!
When I closed my eyes and woke up, the surgery was over. As soon as I opened my eyes, I lost consciousness and all I could think about was what time it was...!... I
had to take out the general anesthesia gas, so I just took deep breaths, but I remember having a hard time lying still and breathing because my whole body was so weak...-_-
Still, I looked at the mirror next to me. Although there was a lot of swelling, I was happy to see that the central part of my nose had decreased as you can see in the picture. ㅠㅠ Infinitely moved
[Day 3]
Honestly, I don't remember much about the 2nd and 3rd days. I took painkillers, nutritional supplements, went to sleep, woke up, and felt dizzy over and over again, so I don't remember much...-_- It was just an eternity. Still, what I remember is that the nurses in the operating room were very kind and gentle + the director also took care of me from time to time, so I felt reassured + I needed to replenish my sugar, so they gave me a strawberry smoothie, and it was very delicious...ㅠㅠ It's definitely in my memory.^^
[7 [First]
After coming home for a week, I concentrated on taking care of the swelling and resting, and supplemented my nutrition with liquid food three times a day, including pumpkin juice and New Care Cellex Pocari. It's hard to eat porridge, so you have to take even liquid food with the syringe provided by the hospital. Otherwise, you may suffer from low immunity.ㅠㅠ
The facial swelling was the worst on the 2nd to 4th day and seemed to gradually subside after that.
[Day 14]
After an eternity of one week, when the second week finally arrived, I finally gained some stamina, so I went for a walk. After going for a walk, the swelling in my face definitely went down a lot.
When you regain your stamina, please take a walk as often as possible. As expected, there’s nothing better than a walk to get rid of swelling!
I also visited the hospital occasionally, where my progress was checked, my mouth was disinfected, I received nutritional injections, and I received laser treatment for swelling!
[One Month]
The long-awaited one month! Up until the 3rd week, I slept sitting up to get rid of the swelling as much as possible, but I guess it was starting to put a strain on my back, so I started sleeping lying down and it was a bit swollen in the morning..! (The one-month follow-up photo was taken in the morning)
The swelling in the philtrum, chin, and tip of the chin is still severe, but I am practicing smiling a lot according to the hospital's instructions.
Looking at this, the swelling in my lips has also gone down a lot. I am happy to see that satisfaction with the surgery has clearly decreased in the mid-face area. ㅠㅠ It's been a month and there's some swelling, but it looks similar(?) to the size of my face before! I believe that once the swelling goes down, it will be several times smaller. ^^ As expected, the director of Yangak Goyo Restaurant is the best..ㅠㅠ
I will come back for the second month review~
