My bite was not right
since I was young, so
I had orthodontic treatment at a local dentist,
but my lower jaw
was still protruding . Then, I visited the hospital in advance on the day I quit my job. My
criteria for finding the hospital
were 1. Correct bite and 2. Safety. It is important to have the lower jaw in place so that the bite is right, but I also wanted to make sure that there were no side effects from the surgery
. I was especially scared that I would lose sensation in my lower jaw because it would irritate my nerves.
I heard from an acquaintance that it was good after getting it done here 10 years ago,
so when I looked it up, the director saw that she was diligent in her academics and consistently published papers on her blog, so I had a consultation. She listened to my story carefully and pointed out exactly what I wanted. First of all, seeing that my acquaintance was living well without side effects and looking pretty, I decided to have it done here and had a consultation. After the consultation, she understood my needs very well, and I liked the surgical method and the fact that it was bloodless.
I had orthodontic treatment at the affiliated Lucent Dental Clinic for 6 months before surgery to do missionary correction, and I have been receiving orthodontic treatment continuously since the surgery. After the surgery, I
touched my jaw with my hand to see if there was any sensation, and
I did a lot of breathing exercises to wear off the general anesthesia.
My face really swelled up like a balloon, but time heals all wounds
. After the surgery, the director came and said the surgery went well, and it seemed that way. I am still
very satisfied. I only drank liquids for 2 weeks, so my weight has dropped a lot. When I look in the mirror, my chin really is gone. Now I am looking into rhinoplasty, but since there is no one around me who has had both maxillofacial surgery and rhinoplasty, it is very difficult to find a place to do it..
